Cyclorama and is army basic training museum

We said goodbye to the Shapiros
The cyclorama is amazing. It is a 200 ft wide 40 ft high painting of the battle for Atlanta. The picture was commissioned by someone who wanted to use it as a publicity board for their election campaign. It took 2 years and 11 painters to make and costs 45000 in the 1800s but the patron died 3 days before completion. It ended up selling at auction for $1000 and now it is worth 26 million.
We went to basic training museum in fort Jackson South Carolina. It shows what the recruits go through.
